Adam Ness has possessed a powerful, innate gift of music from childhood. Inspired by the likes of Aretha Franklin, Prince, and Erykah Badu, he is a unique blend of finesse, soul, and power. The Detroit native first introduced the world to his progressive fusion of R&B, funk, rock, and jazz through his groundbreaking EP, #HighPlaces. The project spread like wildfire in the underground R&B scene, with the single “Blush” ferociously leading the charge. Adam’s second project presented fans with a two-part release. Sagittarius, Vol. 1, the teaser EP, and the follow-up album, Sagittarius Vol, 2. The project garnered extensive praise from media outlets, who have noted it as “sultry”, “vibrant”, and “richly organic.” Adam is a sought-after vocalist, writer, and producer who has featured on the projects of numerous fellow artists, to include Noname’s critically acclaimed Room 25 album. His works have also have landed him placements on the TV series The Chi, and Queen Sugar, as well as on the soundtrack of the film B-Boy Blues.
